Originally built for US Army Watercraft Division in 1953 as a “BD” Type crane (used by US Navy and US Army, excellent international track record including high profile items like lifting bathyscape TRIESTE) rebuilt and fully modernized by US Army as part of national programme for these vessels.

Purchased by current Owners in 2014 and entered into full international load line and 150 / 160 te certification.

4 point mooring system.

The floating crane is non-self-propelled. Dumb and is towed – works very well with multicat or tug c. 18-25 te BP – tows well at sea.

Long history of successful performance with Owners including in Bay of Biscay, Orkney, Wales, etc, on salvage, heavy lift, etc.
